So here I am updating my journal on DA... a journal that no more than maybe three people even bother to read, hah.

Well anyway, I was thinking just now how I've never really created anything spectacular. I know a lot of my art is good and that people (including me) like it, but I want to make something that I can be genuinely proud of. Something that surprises me, it is so good. The reason I haven't is because of a few reasons, mainly revolving around a lack of motivation, patience, and talent? The last one is questionable, because I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface of what kind of talent I'm capable of. I honestly think I have the potential to be AMAZING, but I can't seem to get to that point, and it's frustrating.

In other news, I'm probably not going to be using Artician.com after all. I have a bad habit of trying to "upgrade" everything in my life and having an insatiable desire for new things to replace old things, even when those old things are perfectly fine. And since version 6 of DA, a lot of the things I hated about this site have been fixed anywho, and it seems to be working quite well now.

As for the status of my If Flowers Could Talk t-shirt, I haven't done anything with it for a while. I was in the process of revising it based on what people in the critique section of Threadless.com before I just kinda... stopped. I'll get to it eventually, but for now I have other things to focus on.

On a side note, these words I'm typing seem to be coming smoothly and without too much hesitation, which is different than it has been lately. I feel very articulate right now and feel like I should write a novel before it goes away again :'[

I'm hungry for more toast.
